How to get an Account
Head over to our IRC channel, #nonlogic on irc.freenode.net and private message a staff member.

Frequently Asked Questions
I just want an account to host my website—is that OK?
Nonlogic exists as a place to create original open source content, and as a community to collaborate on various projects. If you don’t have anything to offer us, we don’t have anything to offer you.
I don’t know very much about programming—can I still join?
We aren’t just about programming—if you’re a musician, an artist, or an expert in any field, you can easily find demand for your skills in the community. If you need help with something, just ask in the IRC channel and we’ll do our best to help out.
Can I use IRC on my account?
IRC access is only available for users who donate. Go to the donate page to see how to get IRC access, and more gifts.
Are there limits for CPU/RAM usage, disk space, or the number of processes I can run?
We do not have strict limits on CPU or RAM. However, if your usage is deemed excessive, your processes may be killed (unless staff are notified beforehand). Regular users have a 32 process limit which may be raised by request for those who donate, as well as a disk quota of 2 GiB.
How do I log into my account?
Grab an SSH client and connect to nonlogic.org. If you’re on Linux or Mac OS X, you probably already have one. For Windows, take a look at PuTTy and for transferring files, WinSCP.
How do I use my MySQL database?
Head over to the User Admin page, log in, and enable your database. Passwords in hand, go to MySQL Admin and set up your tables.
